Helping Young Hearts Find Their Way

When your child is struggling, you feel it too. Maybe it's anxiety that won't let up, behavior you can't explain, or a family change that's shaken everyone. You don't need a perfect plan, just a first step. We'll figure out the rest together.

What to Expect

The first session usually includes a parent meeting, we want to hear your observations, concerns, and goals. Then we'll spend time getting to know your child in a way that feels comfortable and safe for them.

For younger children (ages 4–10), therapy often looks like play. Through games, art, and storytelling, children express what they can't put into words. For teens, sessions are more conversational, a space where they can talk openly without fear of judgment.

Parent involvement varies by age. With younger children, you may be in the room or receive coaching after each session. With teens, we balance their need for privacy with keeping you informed on progress and safety concerns.

Our Approach

Play Therapy

For younger children (ages 4–10), play is the natural language. Through structured play, children express feelings they don't yet have words for.

Therapy Adapted for Youth

Age-appropriate, general therapeutic strategies that help older children and teens identify thought patterns, build coping skills, and work through challenges at their own pace.

Family Involvement

Parents are partners in the process. We provide coaching, joint sessions, and practical strategies you can use at home.

School Collaboration

With your written consent, our clinicians can consult by phone with teachers and school staff as needed to support your child across environments. We do not routinely attend IEP or school-team meetings.
